Dialog box of "Start Recording"

Input recording conditions and set up the main unit of the Thermo Recorder to start recording from the specified day and time.

Content of setup

Channel Names		Up to 8 letters can be input and different names can be given to 2 channels of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder.
Interval		The following options can be selected.1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 seconds1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Record Starting Date		Programmed start The main unit of the Thermo Recorder starts recording from the programmed date and time.The units in inputting record starting date and time are year, month, day, hour, minute and second.The initial value displayed is the date and time of the actuation of the dialog box. (rounded up to the next whole hour) Immediate start The main unit of the Thermo Recorder immediately starts recording.The recording start date and time do not need to be input.
Recording Mode		Either endless loop or one-time recording can be selected.The endless method has a ring-type recording system where the 1st point through the 8000th point continues. When the recording exceeds the 8000th point, the data is overwritten in order from the oldest data. Recording continues until the setup is cancelled.In the one-time method, the recording is terminated when recording from the first point to the 8000th point is completed.
Unit display in		Either Fahrenheit "°F" or Centigrade "°C" can be displayed on the LCD of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder.
Sensor Type		Select type of sensor to be used.Only Pt100 type is available for export model.

Present Date Time

The present date and time display is from the system calendar. In the case that the record starting date and time is in the past, recording cannot be started through programming from the main unit of the Thermo Recorder even by clicking the setup button.

End Date Time

The scheduled stop date and time are calculated through recording intervals and recording start date and time.

(Scheduled stop date and time are not displayed in the endless loop recording mode.)

Setup

Click on the setup button. The setup value data are downloaded from the main unit of the Thermo Recorder connected to the serial port, which displays the values again.

Execution of record setting

Click the Setup Status button for setting the recording start of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder.

Execution of cancelling record setting

Click the Stop button to cancel "Recording being programmed" or "Recording" of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder.

Maximum number of recording points

The maximum number of recording points for the Thermo Recorder is 8,000 points for the TR-81.

Precautions
a) In some cases, record setting is unavailable depending on the condition of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder. During record programming or recording (already set) with the main unit of the Thermo Recorder, an error is shown because of improper Thermo Recorder mode. b) In some cases, cancellation of setup is unavailable depending on the condition of the main unit of the Thermo Recorder. If there is no record setting indicated for the main unit of the Thermo Recorder, an error is shown because of improper Thermo Recorder mode. c) Communication is unavailable. Unconnected communication cable or mistake in selecting a serial port causes an error. d) In the case that recording does not start on the date and time being set.Record starting date and time is calculated based on the system calendar of the personal computer. In the case that the present date and time displayed are different from the correct ones, correct the date and time of the system calendar of the personal computer through date and time setting registered on the control panel, and perform record setting. e) No need for connecting to personal computers after record setting. Once the record setting is finished with the main unit of the Thermo Recorder, the unit does not need to be connected to a personal computer until downloading recording data. Full utilization of the personal computer is available because the main unit does not require a personal computer during recording.
