Use the software to check the wireless signal strength between the Base Unit, Repeaters, and Remote Units.
Weak signal strength may cause failure of wireless communication, including the transmission of warning reports, recorded data, and current readings.
Try adjusting the device position and/or placing a Repeater to improve and maintain stable communication for all devices.
1 | Group Name List | This shows all registered groups by name. |
---|---|---|
2 | [Test Signal...] Button | This will open the [Check Signal Strength] window. |
3 | Wireless Route Settings Window | The wireless route for the group selected from the Group Name List will appear in here. By clicking [Test Signal...], colored bars will appear next to the device's icon to show the signal strength. |
4 | Wireless Signal Strength Results List | The results for the signal strength between the device selected in the [Check Signal Strength] window and other devices will be shown in colors and numbers from 0 (weak) to 5 (strong). |
1 | Device Name List | For the selected group, all registered Base Unit and Repeaters will appear. Place a check mark next to the Base Unit and Repeaters for which you wish to confirm signal strength. |
---|---|---|
2 | [Start] Button | This will start the test to check wireless signal strength. |
3 | [Stop] Button | This will cancel the test to check wireless signal strength. |
The signal strengths are shown in colored bars for communication between the devices in the wireless route.
